Nothing like the musical. It’s so much better.
Personally I love this book, I found it after the musical, I honestly wished the cast from the musical would have taken their roles to this book. I wish the musical would have gone this route but it would be a little confusing. I like the twist ending and character development.

Listened to with my Teen
So there were parts that made it weird to read together, but this is the first book that my son enjoyed and begged to listen to. He HATES reading or listening to books as he is ADHD and loses interest. Not with this one and the reader’s performance, which was SO. GOOD. The author was so spot on with a teen’s behavior and so relatable for my son. With Ramon’s description at the end - it’s an obvious must read for life lessons for teens.

A Great story
Listening to this book has been a wonderful experience. It spoke to me deeply. As I am rather similar to the main character. It portrays teenage life accurately and the writing style is very funny. I laughed at least every ten minutes. The narrator is absolutely great. I loved how he changed voices for the different characters and the sounds that he had made. Really gave the book life. The squip actually reminded me of Venom, minus the physical stuff. The books has a great message overall. Taught me a lesson.

I enjoy the narrator. They have a lot of potential and I listened to this book a lot in middle school and even other titles.

Amazing 😄🤩🤩
This book is amazing I got this after hearing about the west end musical and thought it would be interesting.l just finished it today and after it I was speechless 😶 I couldn’t stop saying how good it was . It was so funny as well but it still had a great message anyway I give it 5/5 ty
