Fantastic

One of my favorite Chuck Palahniuk books. I love him as an author and this is a fantastic story. Hard to follow at times but worth it.

Not everyone’s taste but intriguing all the same

One must irreversibly destroy the concept, and sometimes the physical form, of self to be truly free.

So satisfying!

This book takes you on so many twists and turns in the way it is written. It is a puzzle, but the moment you find the final piece and the whole story comes together, it is amazing. It is not an easy listen if you’re distracted, so keep that in mind!

I've owned countless physical copies of this incredible novel because I insist my friends read it.. worth the new buy every time

Dark, soft yet edgy twists, engaging and intense imagery (from the characters looks to the sex to the descriptions of rooms you feel like you yourself have entered) I will ALWAYS suggest this book to anyone who is willing to give it a chance. I have read it, and now listened to it, more times than I can count... some would say it's my "comfort" novel... but it's filled with anything but that.

Good and unique

I like how everything is just kind of out of a fashion magazine. I think you must listen and finish this one quickly because is easy to get lost in all of the jumps from past to present

Everyone should read this

This is a wild ride from start to finish. Chuck has an amazing way of making unlikable characters completely lovable. This was so unique and imaginative, written in a way that you couldn’t help but live in each character’s shoes and take a peek in their brain, which is raw and ugly but so relatable in every way. This story showed me the darker parts of my own soul, and I absolutely loved it. Thank you, Chuck Palahniuk.
