what happened to the battery?

This was definitely entertaining. All of these books are a fun listen with lots of laughs; however, most of them follow similar structures. This one is no exception. Unfortunately, it plays out like a mystery, sprinkling hints and clues throughout to figure out who the big bad is. However, the person all the clues point to is apparently innocent, and the actual bad guy has zero clues pointing towards them. I can accept this. The real problem is that at one point, somebody's car battery is disconnected, presumably for the bad guy to set up an attempt to kill a character. However, at the end, when they are giving their evil monologue, they claim to have coincidentally seen the character leaving in a tow truck, which means the bad guy did not disconnect the battery. This inconsistency is never mentioned again, even though it was a significant plot point. If it weren't for that, I'd give it five stars; it just feels rushed but remains entertaining.
