Merciless

I think this release will be the pinnacle of the series for at least some time. I think the next book will be decent, mainly covering the big meeting of the demon lords, but after that, I'm afraid the series will devolve into " That Time I Was Reincarnated as the Chairman of the Board." If memory serves, the anime was 90% meetings and discussions. Let's all hope the source material is more interesting.

At any rate, it is always satisfying when a nice MC does not equate to a spineless pushover. In this release, we get to see Rimuru's merciless side, and he even has a skill to prove it.
