she came, she saw, she disturbed

First Mary Burton story & I have to say, I had a good time.
Felt like a long NCIS or Criminal Minds episode.

I did not like the first couple of chapters once it was Solan's pov, I was set for the long haul.

I think the story structure of flipping back and forth through the timeline was interesting and kept me engaged & the romance was a subplot if even that & I'm glad it didn't take center stage.

I'm looking forward to her other work if this is any indication of her quality.

Love!!! Kept you guessing! Well written chapters moved fast. It does go between two different time periods.

Accents were great

Characters were well acted , story well written, intriguing storyline. Will look for other books by this excellent author.

rapping my nails in thoughts

Well. If you want mystery and a bit of suspense this is a great read. Slone had me in her back pocket the whole time. I didn't quite see things going the way they did but it came together poetically. Im glad I was wrong in a few of my hypothesis. Hopefully CJ would gain peace as Slone will and as Patty deserved.

Engaging story!

Besides the tooooooo constant inflection at certain points in the narrator’s voice that almost made me quit, this was a really good read! Story well developed, kept me engaged, and satisfied with the conclusion!
