Great read!

Being a step parent isn't an easy job especially when they are teenagers and acting out after the divorce. In this story of the series Jeff has to step in and set things right in his house before it is too late to save his current marriage.

What made the experience of listening to Ashley & Jeff the most enjoyable?

This couple really works hard to get back that spark. I have read the book but listening to it makes it so real.

What other book might you compare Ashley & Jeff to and why?

All this books in this fantastic series. They each are about a couple who have to endure many obstacles in some cases to get back that spark in their marriage and in their lives.

What about Hollie Jackson’s performance did you like?

The narrator brings this couple forefront and I actually thought I was right there.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I really did enjoy listening to this book and yes I listened to it in one sitting.

Fantastic couple, they really have some obstacles with older kids and the whole step mom , step kids dilemma

Fun read

Well Melanie did it again, a fun read for your summer. Hollie was great, she has a wonderful voice I could lesson to her all day.

What did you love best about Ashley & Jeff?

I love how Ashley and Jeff even though they love each other have their faults. They are experiencing issues that any couple who remarry with children experience.

What other book might you compare Ashley & Jeff to and why?

This is my first time ready a series like this with married couples dealing with issues they are having in their marriage. However, it won't be the last!

Have you listened to any of Hollie Jackson’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes, I've listened to several of Hollie Jackson's performances and this one is stellar like every other of her performance! I look forward to listening to many more audiobooks read by her!

Yes, and I actually did listen to it in one sitting!

Melanie James has done it again! I love the way she has the capacity to write such short stories that have a powerful punch!

Jeff coming home to his daughters disaster!! And having to deal with it!

In this story Ashley!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I really felt for Ashley as she discuses never being able to have her own children. And realizing that her own stepmother was not a bad person. These were really heartfelt moments in the story. And of course Jeff realizing how much Ashley did for them and how bratty his daughter was!!! And that he had not been dealing with this issue.

I love this series by Melanie James. We get a glimpse into issues a married couple actually goes through. Each book is different, but all couples work through their problems together.

My favorite Éveiller Drive story so far!

Ashley is having issues with her step kids, and Jeff, her husband, isn't much help. I was cracking up with the her "revenge". Jeff's reaction to actually seeing what Ashley has been dealing with. I would have loved to have seen this one expanded more. But thoroughly enjoyed it as is.
