Fantastic read that's just as great on audio

Henley and Jeff are awesome characters! Fun, solid and caring as individuals yet as a couple they’re even stronger. Their love and devotion to each other is phenomenal.

This story is full of funny antics! The scary thing is, I can easily imagine them happening in real life as well LOL! That’s the other thing that makes this book so amazing…it has a realistic feel to it. It's more like a real relationship between two real people who have fun together. It’s not full of fluff, embellished sex scenes and lovey-dovey stuff yet it still gives you ALLLL the feels! This author’s writing is spot on, as it has been in all of her other books as well. What's even better is that the narrators managed to capture their personalities and feelings amazingly well, not something easy to do in an audiobook.

This isn't what has become the “typical” romance, it's better! We get to see how Jeff & Henley meet but we also get to experience their dating lives. It shows them as a couple instead of some guy/girl doing the chasing thing or a reunion that leads to a second chance. Nothing wrong with those but they’ve become very common so the fact that this one is "different", well, it's refreshing to me. Something else that I loved about this is that it's a very engaging read. There is a lot of interaction between the characters and very little inner monologue. I absolutely love this because so many times, all the inner monologue just bores me to tears. Definitely NOT an issue with this book. I definitely recommend this book to anyone that needs a laugh or even just a smile. If you've never listened to an audiobook, this is a great one to start with and if you listen often, then you'll definitely love it.

Loved it!!

Even though Jeff sounded like Casey Kasem and Henley sounded like Siri to me, I loved it!

This book was hilarious and so relatable! Honestly, what pregnant woman hasn't had these thoughts? If you tell me you didn't, don't be mad when I call you a big fat liar. As moms, we have all been there. The first child, you worry about everything. By the third, you're seriously wondering if you need to still feed the kid lunch since he just ate a pound of dirt. 

This book was so well written and I've just found an amazing new to me author. It's sweet, sexy and funny as hell. I wish I could give it 10 stars. 

Sensational!

When I first read this book I laughed harder than ever before. I truly didn’t think listening would measure up to the pure enjoyment as popping my #Birthquake cherry had. I was so wrong! These narrators took it to a whole new level of hilariousness, almost to the point of peeing myself while tears streamed down my face! BL Berry told such a great story, and Kate along with Chris made it a top re-listen in the process.

Humorous Look at Becoming a Parent

The narrators did a great job of making Henley, Jeff and Tara come to life. I could hear the conversations and see the characters having them. I laughed out loud several times at the humor in this book.

4.5 Hilarious & Quirky Stars!

I absolutely adored this audio! It was hilarious, sweet, heartwarming and very sexy! This story starts with a great meet cute between Jeff and Henley. It follows them throughout their fun, quirky and passionate relationship. I want to be best friends with Jeff, Henley and Henley's bff Tara! They are all smart, funny, impulsive, supportive, witty, and caring. Their conversations and situations had me laughing out loud and even covering my face at times! Ms. Berry covers all the bases of a relationship from it's ups and downs, insecurities and happiness, to meddling in-laws and friends. No matter how wacky and crazy the direction of this story would go, Ms Berry would allow us to see honest and genuine reactions. I really cared for both Jeff and Henley and felt like I was right there with them all the way. I loved the ending and thought it was absolutely perfect for them.
I really enjoyed narrators, Kate Udall, and Chris Andrew Ciulla. Their varied voices, comedic timing and inflections, deftly capture the crazy journey, called life, that Henley and Jeff are on.
This story is the perfect blend of humor, charm, emotion and steam. It captured my heart and had me totally engaged from start to finish. I definitely recommend this must read romance!

absoutely hilarious

This book made me cry because I could not stop laughing. I loved every inch, every word of this story. What I read was fantastic but t hear it made it that much funnier and entertaining. I rate this as the funniest book of 2108 for me and I read a lot. The author did an amazing job writing this book and then finding the perfect platform and voices to make it spectacular.

cute and funny book

cute book. funny at times. definitely for moms and moms to be or someone who wants to be a mom. wish there were more chapters featuring the boyfriend, he was sweet and funny.
side note: from experience! get the epidural as soon as possible. I asked for an epidural but they said it was too soon, that I still had hours yet. well I finally got the epidural but it never took, the baby came less than an hour afterwards and I felt everything! thankfully it went fast but it was very very painful and I wish I insisted on getting it sooner.
