Wonderfully executed
The death of the Warlord. Celeste and her son have been enslaved. It was all the plan of one man who feared Oryan. However, they have powerful allies, warriors from another time and another place. Archides. They need Oryan, his father's son, Celeste's Oryan. They need him to face the ultimate evil, Damrich, the man who destroyed their world and now threatens this one. This world is at stake. Its survival depends on Oryan and his family.
Oryan and Celeste! So many answers! And now it all hangs in the balance. What a change of pace and so welcome. This series continues to impress me with its story development and its character growth. Each book satisfies its story arc and leaves me anticipating the next book. And for those who enjoy audiobooks, this one is excellent. Scott Hart captures the urgency, the characters, and their moods wonderfully.
