Impressed

Excellent detective novel! Fast moving yet detailed enough to have a great storyline and depth to the characters. I loved that it takes place in Sweden! The character names sometimes seemed a bit similar which took a bit of a conscious effort to remember who was who, but I think that’s just a learning curve since I’m not a Swedish native.

Props to the narrator who seamlessly pronounced everything and navigated both British and Swedish accents brilliantly! She also had excellent pacing and cadence, and when it was a more suspenseful moment she brought just the right amount of anticipation and emotion.

Overall 10 out of 10!

Mixed feelings about this one

Great narration, interesting story line…EXTREMELY hard to follow due to the many names and pronunciation of each. I didn’t think a foreign based book would be difficult to follow, but for me it was.
Plot development a bit slow. The ending was the best part. Unsure if I’ll read the next book in this series… however the cliffhanger at the end has been intrigued

Solid Procedural Thriller

Solid Procedural Thriller. Narrator was great. Audiobook preferred especially due to the pronunciation of foreign terms. Cliffhanger practically forces you to get the next book.

Story line was intriguing

Listening to this book, I was enthralled to hear the words weaving a story so sinister and disturbing to a wonderful end.

New Favorite DI Series

I took a chance at starting a new series and I’m glad I did! Can’t wait to read the next one.

Wow! Very good listen

I found this book title scrolling FB, then found it was a plus catalog book. I am so glad I tried it. The book is set in Sweden. I enjoyed the characters. The names were hard to understand and follow, except Jamie's name, nevertheless I enjoyed the story and the narrator. It kept me guessing through to the end. It's a good mystery.

I'm a fan now...

Somehow I came across this book title. After the first few lines, I was hooked. I so love the character of Jamie Johansson. After finishing the book, I immediately googled more titles from the author Morgan Greene. I have binged listened to books 2, 3 and about to start book 4. I am a fan now and can't wait to see what adventures Jamie Johansson will have next.
