Explosive Summit

Katrina has devastated New Orleans, the Queen of Louisiana is going to the large vampire summit in a weakened financial state and she is being charged with the death of her husband the King of Arkansas. Johanna Parker is fabulous. She balances all the voices so well. I wouldn't be able to picture any other voice for Sookie than Johanna's.

So good. I truly enjoy the series and couldn’t stop listening. Absolute gem! Very entertaining and sweet.

Best yet

I love all the Sookie Stackhouse series but this is my favorite book with all the action, adventure and insight into Sookie's world including her men. I only listen to the series through audible.com because the narrator is so good I can't imagine just reading any of the series instead of listening.

Good Series

I really enjoyed these books. I listen to this series while I work. They are easy to listen to and entertaining enough to help me through a repetitive job. I would recommend and listened to the whole series.
