Loving It So Far!

I haven’t made it through all 79 hours yet (it's a beast!), but I've dipped in and out and wow what a treat. The narration is top-notch, and Dumas’s storytelling is as gripping and emotional as ever. The Count of Monte Cristo pulls you in with its themes of justice and redemption, while The Three Musketeers is full of action and camaraderie. Even just listening in pieces, I’m hooked. Can’t wait to keep going. Totally worth it!

Phenomenal Classics. Must Listen!

I’ve seen the movies and read most of his books. Dumas adjust characters based on historical contexts very well. The movies are OK, but the originals top any remake. I’ll never understand how they can simply skim over so much good content from these books when filming.

I’m really glad that I picked this version to listen to these classics. The narrator did a great performance for these long works. Dumas would be happy.

A few of the best classic adventures

This collection of Alexandre Dumas brings us two classic stories of honor, revenge, friendship, and loyalty. I remember studying these in school and it was great to come back to it, the only thing is the pronunciations may be a bit off but overall I really enjoyed reliving these tales!
