Very informational

I recently acquired a small space in the city that I don't necessarily need but I think would do well as an Airbnb so I wanted to get a book that could help me understand what it entails. Though the potential for passive income was enticing, the world of short-term rentals is very unfamiliar to me and was kind of scary. From the beginning the underscores the phenomenal rise of Airbnb as not just a company but a global revolution in the hospitality sector. What I found the most helpful was the Ten Commandments of a Successful Airbnb. The author covered things such as first impressions to respecting the platform's policies so as a beginner, it was like a quick checklist of things for me to learn and remember, and then all the chapters dove in deeper to give you more actionable steps to take to make sure you get your property listed, marketed and ensure your visitors are happy.

As a novice, I feel like this book has better equipped me to be ready to get my apartment ready. I am very excited and I feel like the guide explained things in a great way so that I was able to retain the information. Great book for anyone getting started with an Airbnb

Honestly even though I have used Airbnbs in some of my travels, I never imagined them a possibility for me to make an income especially because I don't own much property. As I am close to embarking on the long term rental market with my properties, this book provides some interesting points to consider before you have a tenant sign a long term lease!
