good book ruined by virtual voice

virtual voice narration ruins an otherwise good story and audiobook. I really wish Audible would stop using it.

Story line was excellent!

I am very impressed with all of Matt's books! I'm reading all of them I can find! My only complaint is his stories don't last long enough! 😊

Horrifically thoughtful & warm

Like all of Ethan Blackwood’s books this one is cleaver and original. I’ve had the good luck to listen to many of his books on audible.com for free - and I’ve enjoyed everyone of ‘em! Ethan has quite the broad spectrum of story types while staying inside my favored genre. Yet all his books don’t follow a set plot structure with the same endings. This book was a real surprise- it had a lot more heart to it. Warmth and intelligence with likable characters. If you are seeking horror, gore, and the feeling that you should keep looking over your shoulder at night I would try reading his book on Chupacabras. Save this one for when you feel the need for a warm hearted tale of frightening folklore. You know… With the enormous amount of Audiobooks written by this author available now I’m wondering if Ethan Blackwood is actually the next evolution of an “A I” “creative writing” program. I mean one day there were no horror / Bigfoot /werewolf / monster audiobooks by Ethan Blackwood then suddenly there are dozens! Can one writer really produce that many quality books that fast? Can an A I at our current state of technology? Hmmm… I wonder what the deal is? I better go look him up.

good description of feelings and environment. not a lot of sense of negatice consequences.

i did like it, but the ending felt a little rushed. overall good for grasping new concepts
