A story set in the Wild. The story sucks you in, and you’ll find yourself rooting for the good guys. Don’t want any part of these woods.

GREAT story with an even better meaning behind it...

Not only was this book SO engagingly amazing that I listened to it without stopping once, but the author's note at the end....brought me to tears that I'm still wiping away from my eyes as I wroite this. What a powerful story. Thank you so much for everything you've done for us and continue to do with these amazing books Mr. Hoover!!!!

If you enjoy thrillers, suspense and a bit of horror? This is a rare gift. Hoover writes in such a masterful descriptive style that will oftentimes hit the reader viscerally. His characters are stellar and I spent an entire day non-stop listening and I feel zero shame. This book is a rare gift for book lovers!

Scared and Crying

i thoroughly enjoyed this novel. It was a great horror story. But the end, left me crying as a little baby. Thank you.
