With a second chance on the horizon, Mark and Liam explore something that fear had cut them off from as kids. They'll do it while working together to unravel the truth behind Liam's case, risking everything they've regained in the process.

Omg this audio book was absolutely positively amazing. I would highly recommend this audio book.

Great book

The author did a great job of developing the characters. I love happy endings but the author keeps you guessing until the very end. The whole series is awesome!

Great series

Loved it. Loved all the characters. Greg Boudreaux did a fabulous job narrating this story. Start with book 1 and listen to all of them. You won't be sorry. Way to go Max, I'm hooked.

Good story. Great narration.

The story was certainly entertaining. This series reminds me of older black and white movies where the acting was stagey. The movies were entertaining, but very melodramatic. This book series has the same feel. I enjoy Greg Boudreaux's performance, and the plot is interesting. The characters do seem to overact their parts a little, and the big reveals aren't terribly shocking. The story does have plenty of romance and a few steamy moments. Worth a listen if you are looking for something narrated by Greg Boudreaux that has romance with a dash of mystery.

Another great addition

And the story continues. Still a murderer on the loose. Now, they have lost one of their own. Another great couple we meet and they have a HEA. I like that all the guys are in each additional story, Building a family and investigating. Well worth the credit and your time to listen.

Storyline lacking

Narration was spectacular as usual, but this 3rd book was lacking for me, dunno why?

📖 Story comment: Good pace, likeable characters, nice flow.
Enjoyed this 2nd chance romance. I liked both Mark and Liam's characters, they made a good pair and I enjoyed their dynamic. There's a lot s*xy times in this book and I would have liked a little more character development in its place. I also wasn't a fan of Liam's excessive and unnecessary use of the "F-bomb".

🎧 Narrator comment: Greg Boudreaux can do no wrong (in my opinion). He suits the characters, has good cadence, inflections and intonations and it's easy to distinguish the characters from each other. Overall an enjoyable performance and he bought the story to life.

A fantastic third in a lovely series!

Highly recommend this series. It’s a good blend of mystery and love and romance and comedy.

The narrator is phenomenal and has made listening to this a breeze.

Also. Mark and Liam are 🥵🥵🥵

be warned a pet meets its end in this book.

so I really liked the characters and finally getting to know the ages really made me happy! the other books in the series are vague on the ages of people. I totally thought that at the end the killer was going to off them selves! I also loved both partners switching top and bottom because it seems more real. the story had me a couple times thinking I knew how things were going to go and bam it went a different way.!

didn't like : the pet being killed or Collin or griffins dad. but I understood Collins death for the storyline not at all griffins dad though. not every killer needs to be on drugs though I'd like to see that change in the next two books.
