A great finish to the NYC storyline.

A great finish to the NYC storyline. I'm glad the story came back around to Zane And Enzo.

📖 Story comment: reasonable pace, likeable characters, good end to the series.
If you can dig through all the s*x (not even 30 minutes in and Zane and Enzo were getting busy), the story concluding the Zodiac case was good - although I would have liked the "big climax" to be a little more "something" given how long this killer has plagued the community.
The relationship between Zane and Enzo has matured and they "talk rather than react" which I appreciate of mature characters. But this one had too much s*x in it for me (to the extent I was fast forwarding through it) and there are some inconsistencies in the details from previous books, which was noticeable doing back to back listens of the books in this series, but overall I enjoyed it.

🎧 Narrator comment: Greg Boudreaux can do no wrong (in my opinion). He suits the characters, has good cadence, inflections and intonations and it's easy to distinguish the characters from each other. Overall an enjoyable performance and he bought the story to life.

Mystery and Steamy Romance = Fantastic Listen

Loved this series. Great narrator and I can’t wait for the spin-off series to release.

Perfect wrap to a wonderful series

Loved this conclusion to the NYC arc. It was touching and the ramp up to the finale was tense and engaging.

It’s entertaining for sure

The narration was great. The writing is not always fluent and the story didn’t make full sense to me at all times but I like these over the top in love couples and their always so perfect physical encounters … entertaining for sure.

Once again, I enjoyed the narration. Greg Boudreaux adds some spice to the characters and the story. This series appealed to me because I am a fan of mysteries with a dash of romance. This series was a romance with a tiny dash of a mystery involving a serial killer. Again, this was mostly a romance. I didn't find the serial killer to be terribly intimidating, and the mystery wasn't really much of a mystery.

If you want a romance story that is packed with melodrama and a dash of mystery, this will be an entertaining adventure.

What an ending. Greg Boudreaux did an outstanding job with this series. Max Walker writes amazingly. well worth the credit and your time to listen.

Omg this audio book was positively amazing. I would highly recommend this audio book.

Mixed feelings

Well, while this was certainly a decent story, it’s too bad that the author didn’t remember their own backstory. Some of the details learned in the first book were totally changed in this one.
Greg did a great narration, as usual so the story was a least a good listen if a bit frustrating overall. Not quite sure it was worth the buy.

Too Much!

I thought it might be interesting to read about an investigator in a gay relationship. However, I didn’t expect to hear so much detail regarding the sex life.
