An Exciting Romantic Adventure!

This book follows the storyline of Vincent Leighton as he competes outbid an unknown woman at an auction. He deliberately outbids her and then tries to get her attention. Darien wants no part in this mystery man but Vincent isn't the type to give up easy. This audiobook is filled with wonderful characters with dynamic personalities and tasteful romance! The Audiobook Haven would recommend this book to any romance lover out there!

Good story

Liked the story. Just couldn't get into the narrator. Too many times I had to go back and try and figure out who was speaking. It was a bit of a mess in that fashion.

A Wonderful Story

Darien West is at the auction with the sole intent to bid on, and win, the beautiful long, bar she loves. Vincent Leighton is at the auction because the bar is exactly what he needs for the new hour he is building. He will outbid anybody to get what he wants. He and Darien get into a bidding war but, as he intended, Vincent comes out on top. He waits for her, not to gloat, but out of curiosity to see who was the other bidder. He doesn't expect Darien, but has an immediate response to her beauty. Darien knows him, mostly by his reputation as a playboy, and is hesitant to get involved in any way. She, too, has an immediate response, but she can't allow herself to be smitten. But what she doesn't count on, is her desire to spend just a little time with him and, soon, she gives in. Vincent has his chance to show her that he's nothing like his reputation. Spending time together is just what they need and, although Darien is still hesitant, they begin to understand one another. The little things they do for each other, and the big things that are so surprising, are starting to open her heart. Vincent really knows how to treat a woman and she has no choice but to fall for him. He's been in love with her since they first met. With some interference from a jealous, vindictive character and failure to communicate, they finally get their HEA and they deserve it! This is a well written story with characters that touch the heart and have you cheering for them every step of the way.
The narration is done wonderfully by Skylar Morgan. She conveys the emotions of Darien and Vincent, as well as a clear vision of their personality.
