I didn't realize it was possible for me to feel anything but anger during my morning commute, but whew, this book had me _feeling_ things. The narrator was brilliant & I wish she'd narrate all the books ever. 100/100 stars, I need at least 6 more books in this series.

Love the modern story between an artist and an aristocrat set in the English countryside. The narrator is superb. Can’t wait to listen more from this author and narrator!

Terrible narrator

I’m sorry but I abandoned yes three minutes in, I found the narrator terrible! I really like Sarah McLean and I’m sure the contact was great, but I just couldn’t get past it

I like this author but this short story was not what I expected — “do I tell her or not? Should I tell her now?!?!” And the lady has no clue he may be the Duke? Nah.

Another woman needing a man to fight her fights

Have we learned nothing from the Will Smith incident? I don’t like stories where the big powerful guy settles slights against his fragile little girl with his fists. Here, she had already defended herself and
was well on her way to reestablishing her worth as a photographer… but went all soft and gooey when Max got all Neanderthal. It made an already bland story go sour.

Beyond the meet cute, this was a handful of vanilla sex scenes and instant love.
This was my least liked book by this author.
