excellent performance

Amazing writing, captivating story line. My favorite in the series so far! I can't wait to start the next one!

Character Development

This was the most well rounded book out of the whole series in my opinion

Well read and with a driving storyline.

I couldn’t stop listening. Will hear this book again and again, beginning with the first book of the series!

Last but not least!!

This, for now, last book in this series, for sure stands out with the amount of descriptive romantic scenes that the author is well known for! But just as in the previous it is all within the confines of the story and never inappropriate. The difference is that compared to the previous books that there is a lot of between Cassian and Nesta as their relationship grows from “just sex” to something far more precious. If you are in the prudish side you won’t like this book. If you have read all the previous books, and won’t shy away from detailed, but tasteful, description of their love making, you should be good. Of course there is the back story of each character we know by now plus some new people that add so much to the story. Loved this book. Loved the whole series. There is talk of a 6th book. If that is true, where do I sign up for the pre-release count!! On to Crescent City and a Throne of Glass!!!

Marvelous

Love action, and so much more. It has everything. I had never read so much in my 40 yrs of life as I read this entire serious in a month. Couldn’t put it down. Yes it’s a fantasy, people hear the word magic and fairies and sometimes turn away this a must read by far and rumor has it there r two more no more coming. They can’t come soon enough ! Thank you to the author and the speculator Elizabeth who reads the book. I prefer Elizabeth than the dramatic version.

A masterpiece

Needless to say that Nesta’s character development was my favorite throughout the series!! I will definitely be listening to the series once again very soon !!!

I never thought I'd have a favorite audio book reader, but she is amazing in this series and throne of glass. will listen to crescent City next (also narrated by her)

Best in the series

Switching up the main characters helped a lot. This is what I was hoping to get with the first four books. The story was engaging and the relationships complex. This book has actual spice to it that made for a fun read alongside the adventure.

Hot take but this is the best one in the series!

The story changing to Nesta at first to me, I thought we were going to miss out. Boy was I WRONG! This book is everything it could be and more. The character arcs, the storyline, the background stories. All of it! I’m so sad I’m done with the series and I cannot wait for the next installment.
