Loved it! I’m a fan of paranormal erotic books and read and listen to way too many of them. But this one stood out for sure. Especially with the narrator. I’ll be getting the following one for sure.

I really enjoyed the plot of this book. It has so much to offer; vampires, hot sex, love, family, vampire hunters and lots of action! You are brought to know the MC Conner quickly and feel for his plight. He is on a mission to try and save a loved one from the clutches of the vampires. Is it too late though, he is only going off instinct and myths. He also has his brother who is ill to care for all while trying to take down the vampire who stole his wife. He is a brave man that will stop at nothing to see this through. No matter the cost, even if he must die. Conner is forced to trust some that he shouldn't and that comes to be a grave decision. I am so Excited to see what happens in book 2 and 3. I listened to the audio book and the narrator had a deep gravely voice that was just perfect!

This gem has a little bit of everything! Love it!

The narrator kind of reminded me of Steve Bloom and I love Steve Bloom. His gritty tone gave this book tons of life and it was easy to imaging all the raw carnage which was this first book. Which was amazing in it's own right, the violence and chaos mixed with the sensual suductiveness of every scene and kept emotions on edge.

I was gifted this audio by James, the author, and I cannot believe how amazing it is! He wrote such a story that it took my breath away amd makes me want to buy his other books from this series. He also did a great job picking Eric Drummond who brought such life to the characters, I felt like I was a part of the story.

I do enjoy a good vampire story from time to time but this...this is hands down am AMAZING vampire story. Sex, fighting, magic, not knowing who will win. I loved it!

A well written imaginative paranormal erotic read. The story hits all the right notes to make the book sing, with the exception of the narrator. The narrator's voice, for me was a distraction. The story however, kept me interested enough to continue listening.

James Fuller puts his own stamp on the vampire genre with this erotic thriller!

Filled with an equal amount of plot and sex, this story had me hooked for the first few pages. Conner was a character I want to root for, and I loved all of the side characters as well, especially his brother William.

This book has everything, romance, action, intrigue, smut, and an ending that I didn’t see coming. James Fuller has started an amazing narrative that I can’t wait to continue in the next book.
