just as good as the first one and just as gritty and suspenseful. James captured a feeling of exhilaration and excitement, while Eric's performance brought it all to life yet again!

Conner and Kasey have stuck together on their hunting quest, only now it's for William and Icarus. This story introduces new threats, Translucent. They are after Conner with death as the only goal. They have several close encounters before they find themselves in the company of a group of trained hunters. There is a reluctant relationship formed and together they attempt again to find William and Icarus before it's too late. The vampires and translucent are planning to bring one of the most powerful vampires ever back to life. If that happens, they may never be able to stop them. This book has some real sexy scenes that for me added to the dark, debauched nature of the story. I really have grown to root for Conner and hope he can find a way not only to stay alive, but to save William too. Not sure that will be possible now! Hurrying off to book 2 now, must know what happens! The audio version has a great narrator who does the story justice!

James Fuller once again crafts a sequel that almost overshadows the original story with its brilliance!

Following Connor into the future as he and Casey try to find William and stay alive, we get to see a softer side of our hero as he falls for Casey along the way.

Placed in even more perilous situations than before, we run into old enemies like Icarus, as well as new threats that make the warlock pale in comparison.

I loved this book. I tore through it at a speedy pace and now I can’t wait for the next installment! This is an author to read if you haven’t already!
