Yes I was so glad that book 1 intertwined with book 2. I loved how in depth they were and that she could finally be herself. That she had super powers she had never gotten to use, and she got to use them to save her man. I can’t wait to read book 3.

Isabella Clarke does a great job and the story is very immersive. Loved this better look at the Tempting Monsters world

Kathryn Moon is obviously a wizard. she writes very spicy 😈 (some would say smutting) but they are deliciously spicy and yet, still incredibly sweet with an actual plot. Not as much sexy time as in Rooksgrave Manor, but still a decent amount.

I love how Kathryn Moon has the main group from the first book make an appearance in this book. Was like seeing old friends! Excited to start the next book.

Such good scenes and really good story. Was a little sad that they had a different storyline than the last book, but played really well into where it like off.

At first I didn’t see the connection to Manner Rose but then halfway through the novel it starts to connect to the first book. Somewhere along the way the novel drops what happened to be the main focus but then shifts the main focus to the villain and then refocuses on the partial main focus of the novel towards the end or the climatic part of the novel. Overall it was a good listen.

Enjoyed getting back to Ms. Moon's world of sexy monsters. This one was definitely lighter on plot than the first go-round. Battle with the villain very short lived and easy to overcome. Would've liked more back story on the bad guy. And it seems every protagonist needs exactly 5 lovers. But I can't really be too bothered by it. Sex was still great, characters loveable, and super fun to listen to. This narrator is a champ. I may not rush to the 3rd installment, but I'm sure I'll get there eventually 😉

I already loved this book by KMoon and Isabella knocked it out of the park - great storyteller. All of the voices were well done and I had no issues listening.

Isabella Clarke does a great job narrating (a little too good lol) . Really brings the characters to life. This second installment has even more plot than the first book and more smut 10/10 🌶️🌶️🌶️
