I thought the narrators did well. The writing is okay…I’d be here all day picking it apart. At some point I just had to accept it for what it was so I could enjoy the storyline, which I did enjoy.

45 chapters in Luka, who was my favorite, did something that just completely turned me off. It wasn’t dubious or CNC, it was just purely non consensual and it wasn’t kind of heartbreaking for him to do. I think the story could have stood without it; instead going deeper into taking down the fight boss, taming the ferals, uncovering deeper layers of the case, etc.

I also wasn’t expecting the dynamic with the feral alphas and I wish more of the story centered on them. A couple of situations involving them were uncomfortable to listen to due to their animalistic nature.

The story was interesting enough and the narrators did a well enough job to keep me locked in beginning to end. I don’t regret the credit!

After finishing: so…every man in this story is gay or…becomes gay? And the FMC just kind of becomes a background character. It was disappointing that none of their relationships with her go through much development, it’s just consistent creation of new sexual relationships between the men. I knew it was heavy MM which is totally fine, it’s just like…95% MM and the FMC gets left behind in it.

I loved this book so much! The characters are so 3 dimensional and each has such a real background and development through the book. Unlike most RH where you can barely tell the males apart from one another these men all are unique and make me care about each of them. And while they're is MM in this book I in NO WAY think it distracts from the FMC and it just makes the males more real. not to mention the story itself! A story about an abused omega who is used to drive feral alphas crazy during cage fights. How she finds her men, how they all have challenges to overcome to become a happy pack. The pack males include a hard working cop (aka the dom), his sub who has a hidden past that makes him suffer if he trys to leave his home, a pampered musician who is facing hard times, and TWO feral alphas. The fact that they all have to overcome the pain of they're past and the struggles of real life is *chefs kiss*. Add in the intense sexy times with a BDSM relationship it makes for the best of all worlds for me.

Best Dark Omegaverse!!!
