I thought this was the best book of the series. I
What I like most is each book is not rewrite of the previous book.
This story answers questions and fills in gaps.

I have a few bones to pick with this series so far! First off why can Madison NEVER finish a meal? Whenever she starts eating she looses her appetite, it's annoying! Second, why are their always A TON of adults, old kings and parental units floating around but none of them ever really do anything? Third, I get it her brother died. Honestly though she spent like 1 day total with him and he shot her. Her grief level is simply not feasible! Lastly, the sexy times. Although great with Madison and Bishop we only got them in flashback form mostly which was weird. Also EVERYONE is sleeping or has slept with almost everyone else so why can't Madison??? I want her to have them all!!!

While the book was great it had parts that were hard to follow, jumping back and forth between present day and the past.

I love this book the bond between characters and even though Madship can be little toxic, it is also one of those relationships that inspires people. I love it!!!

at the end two main characters get shot and they should have died but they survive and no explanation at all about how, and they never talk about it again.

I really enjoyed the first 2 books in the series and kept going because I was invested and wanted to figure out all the mysteries in the series. However, as it goes along it gets more convoluted and when something is revealed it feels like it's thought up on the spot. The writing itself seems incomplete, like the editor missed a few things and the story jumps around and includes useless details. Also, she overuses the word 'deadpan' which really started to get on my nerves after a while.

Amazing story, this dark romance is everything you want and need. It's addictive to a point you will leave everything aside just to read. This book had all the possible twist and turns you didn't see coming, and got me so good. The audiobook is phenomenal I suggest those as well.

Masterpiece

They kept switching who was talking without any explanation during the last hour of the book, and it got confusing as to which character was talking. Still the first part of the book was entertaining. Could have done without Madison’s twin. That part was stupid. Loved Bishop’s mom and Madison together. They were funny.

The last hour needed a lot of work and editing.
