This one is a sexy sassy, heart warmer, super sappy, yada yada yada sweet love story. I loved it! I was unexpectedly hooked from chapter one. This is a stand alone book, but, there are some intriguing friends of Stinger's that would make interesting storylines for future books. I will definitely purchase more from Mia Sheridan. Highly recommended for diehard romantics.

I find myself thinking about this book every time I hear the song "Sister Christian", in fact I downloaded it to add to my music. The elevator scene in this book is awesome! Anyway, I like the book because in spite of the fact it deals with some very serious subjects, it doesn't make you depressed. The slow burn is one of Mia Sheridan's standard writing tactics and she does it excellently in this book.

I was pulled into this at the beginning of the story...how these two different characters fall in love just by spending the weekend together and be apart for 5 years...It dragged a bit in the middle but the ending was perfect.
