This book was amazing BUT the narrators, Alora and Brandon made it 10x better. They brought these characters to live. I felt like I was watching a movie while doing my house chores #obsessed

Oh my what can I say about this story line between Zoey & Dominik all I can come up with is Wow. Tina Spencer did a really great job writing this story.

Zoey lives in Boston and works for a PR company but when things go wrong with her boss she is forced to move to New York and live with her brother Aaron who is best friends with Dominik so Zoey is off limits to Dominik.
Zoey join an app for some BDSM fun and she meets Rouny while still living in Boston and she has the time of her life with him getting in all the kinks she has but once she moves to New York she tries to find men there. What she doesn’t know is someone is keeping a secret and she is forced to fake date Dominik to get his manage back to standards. Loved this book so much but it does end on a cliffhanger so you will need to the next book in the series to find out what happens.

Alora Daniel is a new narrator to me and I loved her so much in this book that I will need to find more that she is in. She did an amazing job playing Zoey and you could feel the emotions in her voice.

Brandon Francis he did an amazing job playing Dominik and he brought the tough guy out in him. I also love listening to books he is in as well.

If you love hockey books with a little bit of bdsm and stalker vibes then this is your book! I don’t love how Zoe’s parents treated her but I love how much her brother is there for her. I loved Dominik’s obsession and possessiveness he had with her. The way he’s tried to hide his feelings only ended up biting him in the butt. I can’t wait to find out what happens next with Zoe and Dominik.

Okay let's talk about how I straight devoured this and cannot wait to dive into Shattered Hearts after the way this ended! The banter, angst, and tension between Dom and Zoe is insane and so addictive! After a very hot and steamy night together 6 years ago, Dom has not been able to get Zoe off his mind....and it seems that Zoe also has never forgotten her masked man that night either. If you love a darker hockey romance, then you definitely need to check this book out! The audiobook is narrated in dual by Alora Daniel & Brandon Francis and it was so easy to binge listening to it!

I listened to the audiobook version of this story and holy cliffhanger!!! Dominik and Zoe’s story is one very slow burn but boy is it worth it. The story itself is sort of slow paced but the dual timelines provide great insight to these two characters. It does have the typical brother’s best friend angst but Dom’s obsession with Zoe is deliciously sinful. He tried so hard to fight his feelings for her for years and to see him finally give in… pure satisfaction. The cliffhanger though… omg I’m glad I have book 2 already or I’d lose it! The narration by Alora Daniel and Brandon Francis was good and I feel like it captured the characters pretty well.

I went into this blind, but oh my gosh, is this incredible. Dominick is absolutely obsessed with his best friend’s little sister. And Sweet Zoe has no idea. We I say Alora Daniel and Brandon Francis made the angst and longing 10x better, I mean it. And the cliff hanger of my gosh, how could you!! But don’t worry I’ll wait like a good girl for Shattered Hearts

This book has been on my tbr for a year, and I’m so happy I was finally able to get to it.

I loved Dominik and Zoe. These two were so hot together. The push and pull, tension, and banter between these two was really good. I absolutely loved the flashback to their past.

I loved Zoe. She was struggling so much, but was so so strong. Even though Zoe hasn’t had the easiest life, she’s still so sassy and such a brat. Zoe has had it rough… Her parents, job, boss, and even her coworkers, were all horrible to her. I loved how Dom (even though she had no idea it was him) made her feel free, even if just for a moment.

And Dom 🥵 Holy Moly that man! 🔥 Dominik is her brother’s best friend. He is obsessed with Zoe, but she has NO idea. He wants her, but made a promise to her brother to stay away from her. He’s so hot and cold with Zoe, I feel like she gets whiplash from his mood changes.

So, I honestly had no idea that this book was part of a duet and ended on a cliffhanger… Whoops! Shattered Obsession did a great job of setting up the story. There was a lot of character building and setting up the story to continue in book 2. As soon as I finished, I immediately dove into the next book, Shattered Hearts. (And I’m loving it so far!)

The audio was really good. This was my first time listening to both Brandon Francis and Alora Daniel and they did an amazing job bringing Dom and Zoe to life! I really enjoyed both of them. They were perfect for Dom & Zoe!

This book had me literally hooked on the first page of chapter one. The plot was so great. The build up to the end of the book had my heart racing at times. The last three chapters had an absolute CHOKEHOLD on me. I knew the plot twist at the end was bound to happen I just didn’t expect it to be found out that way. It had me so speechless and jaw dropped.

The characters internal thought dialogue was so on point with real life and had me busting out loud laughing because it’s so dang true the thoughts the characters have they we also have in real life at the same exact random times. Amazing book. Fell head over heels for Zoe & Dom! I crave more of them. 🏒 🥅 ⛸️
