Who doesn’t love listening to Shane East and Andi Arndt? I mean it just makes it a five star book before you start. It was a sweet story of heartbreak with a happily ever after. ❤️

It’s been to long since I got to listen to a new Louise Bay book. Really good book. The narration was awesome as well. Great job Louise again 😊

The book is good and love the narrators. I loved the first 3/4 of the book but the end got a little too mushy and cheesy, I mean like he literally went from this strong, dominating, take charge kinda guy to submissive little puppy. It just went sorta cheesy and left me kinda cringing at times, like “Come on Gab keep your balls”. The sex scenes are hot and like I said the first 3/4 were good but thought at times just spit out what you’re trying to say and focus your ideas. Think the author had too many ideas and couldn’t focus at times. Andi is one of my favorite narrators and Shane is good too.

Shane East and Andi Arndt are absolutely PERFECT in Mr. Smithfield! I love Gabriel, but Shane brings him to life in the perfect way! Like you just swoon listening to him because Gabriel is such a complex and dynamic character that you can't help but fall in love with him! Single dad romances are my catnip, and this book is so good, and even better in audio! Both narrators do such a fantastic job brining the emotions to life for these characters. If you love romance, be sure to pick this one up because it's an amazing book made even better in audio!

I’m a huge fan of Bay! Her books never disappoint. There’s drama but not so much that you have terrible book hangovers. And thanks Louise for never killing your characters. I hate when romance authors so that!!!! Her stories are steamy and we always our HEAs! The only thing I haven’t liked about a the stories in this series are the feminist undertones- a women should rarely propose to a man and a man should NEVER take a wine’s last night. I’m sorry but I like my alphas - beta males need not apply! Men should be men and they shouldn’t be demasculated, no matter how powerful and independent a woman is! For a women to be powerful doesn’t mean a man has to be less of a man! Bay’s men are very powerful men who get their very independent powerful women. There doesn’t need to be a power struggle for them both to thrive.

Another great book from Louise Bay! Autumn is a fun loving, full of life and happiness nanny to an adorable 4 yr old Bethany. Gabriel is a hard working sexy lawyer who is a devoted Dad. Autumn and Gabriel both are attracted to one another but don’t want to act on it until they can’t hold back anymore. They have some hurdles to get through but overall low angst and drama. Very enjoyable audiobook

Let me just say I love a good book with a grumpy single father. It’s the interactions between father and child that makes you fall in love with the characters. This book was amazing and I loved every min of listening to it. Highly recommend!

Louise Bay has done it again! She knows how to tell a story how to captivate you and make your heart almost beat out of your chest. This book is hot passionate romance taken to a whole new level.

And as always Shane East and Andi Arndt did amazing!! I love the two of them together. Louise Bay knows there can never be another guy than Shane East to narrate one of her British heroes. 😉 Even Shane seemed to take his narration to another level at times almost whispering the thoughts of Gabriel Chase like he is whispering them in your ear which made it even sexier. Yes that man know how to do his job!

I think this is my favorite book from this series!! I know.... the other books are still to come but I love Gabriel Chase. He is a single Dad to an adorable 4 year old daughter. Despite having had his heart broken as he says in the book he would do the exact same thing and marry the same woman knowing what the outcome would be because he would have his daughter and get to be her father. That alone is swoon-worthy. Then there is Autumn who is the nanny. She is funny with a huge heart and is able to melt the hard heart of of her boss. I also love the fact she LOVES musicals. Those scenes are so funny.

If you haven’t yet listened to Mr. Smithfield what are you waiting for, get it!! I give this audiobook a 10!

Louise Bay always delivers. This story had a little bit of everything—humour, heat and sweetness. It all culminated into a beautiful and heartwarming story that I could not put down.

As always Shane East narrating was a VERY pleasant bonus. That voice, huh?!?

In short, must listen and must read. Again and again.
