Could you master the minotaur billionaire?
I'm not a dominatrix. I'm just a single mom struggling to pay the bills and raise my two kids. But when my sister, Kalli signs up as an escort for a demon and ends up with a billionaire demon boyfriend, I can't help wondering if I should re-think my work situation.
I'm not looking for a boyfriend, but if the huge, handsome, rich minotaur wants to pay to get on his knees for me, I'd have to be stupid to turn that down, right?
Jarradek is a politician with a problem: he's bored of girls who want to fawn over him. He's looking for something more!
Controlling him is such a rush. Every time this powerful monster submits to me, it gives me back something I never even knew I was missing. He can't be caught seeing an escort weeks out from the election, but he can't stay away. What happens when people find out the guy who wants to be in charge of the city just wants me to tell him what to do?
Contains mature themes.

I was super happy to get Mel's story after meeting her in book 1 and we finally got to see her HEA! I loved how unsure of herself she was but she went with it, gave in to her wants and desire, and became what Jarradek wanted from the agency (so yummy, not normally my kink with the D/S relationship but I was totally into it!). The sexy times between them had a lot of chemistry, a lot of foreplay which was fun haha. I liked their tension and how things happen between them (and the ending made me happy hahaha, didnt know that was a thing that I would enjoy in a book but boy was a wrong! IYKYK haha).
The plot wasn't something new but it was still heartbreaking for her and her kids. I was swooning with how Jarradek took charge, helped them out, protected her, and was there for them all. Now there were some ups and downs but it's a shorter story so it wasn't for very long haha. I breezed through this one, very much enjoyed it all. Went right into the next book (more on that in the next review!).
Narration was good, I do wish the author had picked some variety between the narrators in each of the stories since they all don't sound the same. I think the FMC doesnt have as much range to be very different with the performances so that lended it to 4 stars for me (again because she has done all of them, I don't like they all are starting to sound the same. Now the male narrator gave differences enough I think that I wasn't as annoyed by that, he would get 4.5 stars from me. I thought they did a good job with all the conflict they freaked out over internally, seeing the dynamics change between the bedroom and outside the bedroom was done really well. And again the kids were done well and stole some adorable moments (like taking advantage of the nice Minotaur with treats hahaha).
Looooved the dynamic in this one!

Narration was pretty good too.
Pretty good single parent romance

Mel is the sister of novella 1’s Calli, and I was a little disappointed at the missed opportunity for both couples to interact. I also don’t care for stories that go heavy on little kids, single mom struggles, and custody drama. With the shorter novella length, however, the domestic drama didn’t overstay its time.
The two narrators are my favorite for campy fantasy romance (Mason Lloyd does the best monster cinnamon roll voice). The narration helps me embrace the fun and the frisky. If I hadn’t have snagged the series at once during a sale, I’m not sure I’d have continued last novella 1, but I’ve found the series, and perhaps this author, are growing on me.
Different strokes for different folks
