I’m having fun with the monster variety, for the most part. In this one, the basilisk’s lethal gaze kept me interested to see the HEA solution. But the number of extra, er, appendages for her pleasure, moved this too close to animal sex. Combine that with an overkill of Os, and the accompanying moans and groans in the narration, and the naughty bits were rather awkward. Despite the not-my-thing nooky, Tamsin and Erserro’s story was a sweet one.

Perhaps one or two appendages too far…
