Resumen del Editor

The steamy stand-alone sequel to Dangerously Mine

Kane Epps divides his life into two distinct parts - before the alien invasion and after. Before the invasion, he had a pregnant wife and a high-powered job. After the invasion, he’s left with only himself and his hatred for all things alien. He channels his bitterness by captaining a vessel of renegade humans - space pirates who don’t think twice about taking what they need.

Princess Sa’Mya is on the run. She and a few trusted advisers fled her home planet only to be captured by the sexy, dangerous Captain Epps. He claims to hate aliens but can’t seem to resist touching her or kissing her…everywhere. As Kane introduces Sa’Mya to ever-increasing, unimaginable realms of pleasure, the princess becomes determined to earn his trust. She’s used to getting what she wants. And this time, what she wants is Kane Epps.

Inside Scoop: This space-opera romance contains male/male sex scenes, girl-on-girl action, group sex and some good old-fashioned voyeurism.

SiFi Erotic Romance

A fantastically erotic, romantic, and entertaining journey to a galaxy far, far, away! Human space pirates, totally sexy aliens, intergalactic political intrigue, and the right combination of heartbreak and drama make this Sci-Fi Erotic Romance a great read!

Even though the book is sic-fi, I'm not sure that being a fan of science fiction is a requirement for enjoying this book. Though many of the characters are alien, most in this story resemble humans, have many human characteristics, including a full-range of human feeling and emotions. It's these emotions (combined with a healthy dose of physical attraction) that forge a connection between Kane and Sa'Mya. They are so entirely different in so many ways, but both have experienced heart-breaking loss and are unfortunate victims of circumstance. At its heart, this story is about two characters' journeys to overcome their differences and find a path towards healing and ultimately the love they both deserve. Kane and Sa'Mya have fantastic sexual chemistry and share some very steamy scenes, as do other characters in the story; this book is HOT!

Though this is the second book in the series, it can easily be read as a stand-alone. I haven't read the first book, Dangerously Mine, but after reading this book, it definitely has a place on my TBR list

Great

Not as good as book 1, but I enjoyed it... I just didn't like the Sa'mya from book 1. She mad me so upset in book 1 that I just didn't feel sorry for her in book 2. Glad she found happiness though...b/c I loved Kane... and boy his backstory was just so darn sad!

Narration was good too.

Worth a Credit or Sale if you plan to invest into the entire series... Books 1-3 are on Audible...

Mediocre alien/human sex, romance and melodrama

This book is more like a 2.75. It is an inter-space, alien/human love story happening around an alien kidnapping done for-profit. The story is quite erotic. Within 2 hours of this listen, it was sex and more sex. And it was often done in raw guy-speak. But the amount of sex tapers off significantly as the story continues. The crux of the story is that Kane, after losing someone, struggled to be with women. He especially had something against alien/non-human females. And in comes alien, Princess Samya. Along with these aspects was the added dimension of family drama and betrayal in Samya’s family. It added some degree of realism by having some of the aliens speak their own alien language. But, beyond that, I have few other positives to add about this story. I struggled to get into any other aspect of the story. It held my attention okay while I listened, but I never missed it when I wasn’t listening to it. I wasn’t attached to the story in any way beyond wanting to finish it because I bought it. It was mediocre but not bad enough to not want to finish it. It was made more difficult by Princess Samya’s (the h) great ineptness in recognizing the reality of her changed circumstances. The degree of her ineptness was very hard to believe. And one sex scene included Kane insisting to his female sex partner, “Say my name” and “Who do you belong to.” It didn’t work well and seemed forced and out of place. Additionally, the story meandered into a melodrama with glib and clichéd statements like, “I think you need her as much as she needs you” and “She awoke a piece of him that he thought was dead” and “She is my past; you are my future” and “I have the rest of my life to make it up to you.“ Blah blah blah. The story was predictable and had forgettable all-too-common character types. Most problematic was the fact that the progression of love developing was unconvincing and unknown. Kane and Samya met, disliked each other, attracted each other, sexed each other, angered each other, and then loved each other; that was it. And it was wrapped up too prettily. It attempted to include a bit of sly humor, but it didn’t work. It, by far, wasn’t the worst book I’ve listened to, but it is nowhere near what I consider to be a good book in any way.

Spoiled alien princess and bitter human lawyer

I book was not anything to write home about..The characters were not at all likable I didn't like Princess Smaya in the first series so didn't find anything more like and this one.. Not much to like about someone who could neither bathe nor clothe herself and doesn't realize when they are truly in a life-threatening situation just stupid

Kane was just hateful bitter and stupid we could throw a little bit of bigotry or racists in there as well...I never did understand a person who would take their hatred of one category of person or group of people and push it out to any and everybody who was not like them.

This to me was not a love story but a forced abduction and then when the princess actually save herself or tried to save herself the abductor (Kane) all of a sudden feel like she betrayed him. This is stupid storyline altogether.

Book 3 doesn't seem to be anything better this is Jesse's story whom in this book was just an over all mean person understanding she probably went through a lot but again racism and bigotry should not automatically apply to a nation of people.

I think the author of this series is trying to set a storyline that explains why the characters are so bitter so that we can have some kind of empathy for them. I'm just unable to empathize with these characters. The situation is horrific but the characters they are just unlikable.

Taio ex machina

I feel like this book would be better if you don't listen to the first. The leading lady is the nemesis from the last book and I'm sorry, but I have no sympathy for her. Her character dissolved into 'meh' during the end of the first book for no reason - perhaps because this book was being planned?

This book has the same character problems as the last, only multiplied. People do things to move the story long and the feeling is just unnatural. Again, the author seems to simply want to shock and stimulate readers by adding random sex scenes that have nothing to do with moving the plot along. There's a m/m(f) scene that's just thrown into the middle of the book with no purpose - it's raunchy, meant to show us how awful a character is, but it was unnecessary - it was also put smut. I'm not a prude, and I enjoy books of this nature, but that scene was like a bad porno and just... sigh. I almost quit there. I stuck with it, only to have a deus ex machine of a lame ending, filled two people who hated each other suddenly being BFFs. I'm sorry, but no. Just... ugh.

I can't say much without spoilers but it's just too easy - I applaud the writer for getting published, that in itself is impressive, but there seemed to be a missed opportunity to enrich this story rather than taking the bad soap opera way out.

Not worth the credit. Will not continue this series. Especially since I see that yet again, the hated character/nemesis of this book is the heroine of the next. Nope.
