Even in death, tortured, and used, I couldn’t be helped. I wanted him, and every depraved thing he did only hammered home that my soul couldn’t be saved.

I always knew I was destined for hell.

NOTE: IMO if blurb/ reviewers warn the book is pitch black dark & you don't like it because it's too dark for you, it's UNFAIR to leave a bad review.
It's unfair to the author, cast, production & readers searching for good content in this style.

Alrighty… so this book was A LOT… like I have a pretty minimum amount of triggers. I can stomach A LOT.. but this book had me having odd feelings….. the whole story was actually so good, which is basically why I loved it. But there were details that if they would’ve been toned down a bit, this book would’ve been right there with “the mindf*ck series” for me and that’s saying. A LOT because that book is one of my unicorns.
I enjoyed the character growth. And the ending was, delicious revenge.

3.5 stars. The MMC only works in the books. Grayson is unhinged, and his way of getting Alora to be his “doll” had me questioning my taste in dark romance. The carousel scene (IYKYK) was too much for me.
