At the time I really wanted to be more healthy, happy, and free. I wanted to build a successful sports agency that gave me the freedom to create my own schedule and make enough money to live comfortably and even pay off my parent's mortgage. The problem was I was in my mid-20s with a lot of dreams but not much confidence. I was 50 pounds overweight, working in a start-up cold call sales job that I didn't love, and sinking into debt up to my eyeballs trying to fly across the county to recruit college athletes planning to go pro. My mental game was a mess. I felt tired and low energy all the time from eating like crap and avoiding the gym like the plague. My confidence was shattered because all I heard was rejection from making 120 cold calls per day. And I was spending more money than I was making trying to fun the agency. Then the bottom really fell out when the sales company started to fail and I had to take a pay cut. I went so broke I had to move back in with my parents. I didn't know what to do. I was scared because I felt like the only working skills I had were in an industry I didn't want to be in. I felt lost because, at the same time, I had started to notice the agency world wasn't a business I wanted dot to be in long term. And with all the stress, weight was still pilling on. Then one night as I was wallowing in my own self-pity, my girlfriend(now wife to be) Vanessa told me about this 30-day food experiment called the Whole 30. It was all about figuring out how food affected your body. At first, I didn't want to do it, but after realizing I needed something in my life to change, I decided to give it a try. It was AMAZING! I love 15 pounds in the first 30 days, felt energized every morning, and my weight continued to melt off. But even better than that, I had reinvigorated my confidence and was beginning to see a way out from under the mountain of stress, frustration, and debt. That's when the big shift happened... It was now crystal clear how to create small changes that made a major impact on living more healthy, happy, and free. And I figured if it worked for food, it could probably work to improve other areas of life as well. So I tried it again with professional development for my sales job and was able to take over the company and bring it back to life, more than tripling my income in the meantime. After that, I did it with running and exercise and lost all of the excess weight I had gained, and was in the best shape of my life. You name it I probably did a 30-day challenge for it... - Running - Food - Journaling - Business Development - Reading - Writing - Learning Spanish - Self-development - Stock Trading - And many more Then one day as I was trying to decide what my next step would be towards business and making money, I realized that if I had been unhappy in all these are of my life and was able to overcome them by following this simple process, then there are probably a ton of people out there who could find value in it too! So I decided to map out everything I had done. All the simple steps, I had taken, all the lessons I had learned, and the 5 different categories that were the most important to work on. I call them The 5 Pillars of Health. After that, it was time to go find some clients to teach it to and see if they could repeat the same results I had. Here is how it went with my first client... "When I started I was broken, depressed, and felt as though I was destined to be stuck. I had some success with Keto but knew it wouldn't help in the long run. The results were even better than I had imagined. My first two case studies lost 15 pounds and 20 pounds within the first 45 days. And my third lost more than 30 pounds in less than 75 days!
