An overview of my background: I had a fun and successful thirty-three year career in law enforcement--first on the Denver Police Department, where I retired as a Captain, then as the Presidential appointed United States Marshal for Colorado. I was a trainer and presenter all of that time and since I left the public sector have found tremendous satisfaction in teaching, training, public-speaking and writing for a wide variety of criminal justice, government, non-profit and business groups.
