Tiana Washington is a mother of two from Dayton, Ohio, but now resides in Columbus, Ohio. Tiana graduated high school in 1994 from Paul Laurence Dunbar in Dayton, Ohio after spending three fantastic years at Trotwood Madison Sr. High School. She is a Certified Medical Office Manager. Her books are all dedicated to her late mother Regina Washington, whom she lost in August 2010, and her father, Jeffrey Farr, Sr. whom she lost in July 2014. Tiana speaks fluent French, and appeared as a guest on the Children's Hour live radio show with host Faye Ray on Talktainment Radio. Tiana wed Daniel Lowks, her illustrator for her kid books, Shanna and the Tag-a-Long Pup and Shanna and The Big Race, on September 20, 2013.
