Tammy Daughtry, author, speaker, advocate, is the Founder of Co-Parenting International (2003), an organization dedicated to addressing the critical impact of co-parenting on children of divorce. She is also the co-producer of the digital course for co-parents, One Heart, Two Homes: Co-parenting Kids of Divorce to a Positive Future (2014). This digital resource includes 31 guests of various ages and stages of life as well as real-life teens and adult children of divorce. It is a powerful tool for single parents, step parents and anyone who works with complex families. Her passion is to help continue the conversation about co-parenting with educators, policy makers, counselors, parents and national organizations that are committed to the success of young people. She has been heard on many national radio programs, television programs and is a relentless voice for children of all ages. She is a strategist with single parent families and step families and is often asked to present professional workshops and keynotes on both topics. She holds a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy and has over twenty years experience in real-life co-parenting. Tammy is a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, Board member with the YMCA of Middle TN, a member of the Tennessee Commission on Children and Youth, an active leader with National Association for Relationship and Marriage Educators, an active advocate for kids caught in the aftermath of divorce, a teacher, relationship consultant and co-parenting coach. A native of Denver, Colorado, Tammy currently lives with her husband, Jay, in Nashville, Tennessee. Together they're raising a blended family that includes four children, four grandchildren and three amazing dogs. When not traveling and speaking, Jay and Tammy enjoy family dinners that include three-generation conversations and a common "family joke night" at their home. Tammy and Jay are both available for on-line relationship coaching for individuals, leaders, professionals and also work with children in their local Center for Modern Family Dynamics.
