Steve Saccone is a pioneer in the field of unrestricted education, leadership development, and missional formation. He serves local churches, non-profit organizations, and many other types of organizations and emerging leaders.
For more than two decades, he has partnered with churches across the country to design and launch innovative leadership development and spiritual transformation processes, as well as internship and/or practicum programs (often referred to as The Protégé Program). Steve has written several books, including Relational Intelligence, Made for More (2023), Protege, The Protege Playbook, and Talking About God: Honest Conversations About Spirituality.
In his current role with Southeastern University, he is charged with executing a unique vision in merging the academic world with the local church to develop the next generation of missional ministry leaders in a holistic and biblical fashion.
He has been in pastoral ministry for over 20 years, serving at Willow Creek Community Church in suburban Chicago, Mosaic Church in Los Angeles, and most recently Awakening Church in the San Francisco Bay Area.
