Sharon Geyer grew up in southern California, one of six children. Nothing in Sharon's ordinary American upbringing would prepare her for the adventures and trials she experienced from 1963 to 1989, first in Iran and later in Israel. Sharon returned to the United States in 1989 and earned a bachelor's degree in English from Arizona State University. She lives with her husband in California. Sharon is the author of a memoir, Daughter of Jerusalem, and The Samson Option series.
