Richard Perhacs is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He received an undergraduate degree in political science from Saint Vincent College where he was educated by a Benedictine monastic community, and a law degree with honors from Duquesne University School of Law where he edited the Law Review. In 2017 he received a Master of Fine Arts in Writing Popular Fiction from Seton Hill University. He's traveled extensively in Latin America, particularly Mexico, and is conversationally proficient in Spanish. He currently works at a large law firm in Erie, Pennsylvania. A published author of professional work, Cuernavaca was Rick's first novel. His master's thesis novel, Rogue, has an expected release in 2018. It follows the lonely, desperate struggle of a small town school administrator falsely accused of murder, and draws upon the author's extensive experience representing police agencies and public school systems.
