Ray B. Rogers grew up in Western North Carolina, attended Mars Hill College; and graduated from the University of NC at Chapel Hill with a B.S. in Business Administration. Born in late August 1929, he likes to say that he caused the Great Depression. Ray lives in Atlanta, GA, near his son (author of How Not To Sail) Bradford Rogers. For over 57 years, Ray owned a State Farm Insurance Agency and was National President of the State Farm Agents Association.
