Paul Stewart is a novelist, poet and academic. "The Book of Paul" is his third novel and is a sequel of sorts to "Of People and Things" (2019). His first novel, "Now Then", was published by Armida in 2014.He has published widely as a poet, including his collected volume "And Other Elsewheres" in 2009. As a Beckett scholar, he is the author of "Sex and Aesthetics in Samuel Beckett's Works" (Palgrave Macmillan, 2011) and "Zone of Evaporation: Samuel Beckett's Disjunctions" (Rodopi, 2006). He is also the co-editor of "Pop Beckett" (Ibidem, 2020) with David Pattie. He has published many articles on facets of Beckett's works for such journals as The Journal of Beckett Studies and Samuel Beckett Today / Aujourd'hui. He was born and raised in Nottingham, UK, before attending the University of Bristol from which he gained a PhD on the works of Samuel Beckett. Currently, he lives in Cyprus with his wife and two boys. He is a Professor of Literature at the University of Nicosia.
