I was born in Berkeley Ca. in 1951. I am a left handed Libra with a sardonic view of life. In addition to writing novels, I am still a gear head. I drive a bad ass 2007 Mustang GT. On the hood scoop I added decals that declare it to be 'The Beast,". The book that altered my life forever is Jack Kerouac's, 'On The Road.' I decided at age 16 that since I wasn't going to be a pro baseball pitcher, that I would devote my life to collecting memories, and not things. I was a minimalist before it became popular. I lead a wild life, and for some unknown cosmic reason, attracted many strange and rowdy friends. I grew up in the S.F. Bay Area and came of age during 'The Age Of Aquarius.' I loved going to the Fillmore and listening to live music. My favorite scenario is a small club, an ass kicking live band and a dance floor. Gotta get a little drunk too. In the early 1970's, I drove a crazy fast 1957 Chevy with a Corvette 327 and a Muncie 4-speed. My hot rod broke down all the time from drag racing on residential
streets at over 100 MPH. I became a mechanic, and eventually a Dealership Service Manager. I managed to stay married for 32 years to a wonderful woman, and we have 3 grown, successful children and 9 healthy grandchildren, and who could wish for more then that?. I am retired and write all day. My only companion is a black, rabid cat named Nigel who frequently catches mice in my mobile home. Photos are from my Novel, Bohemian Interlude. That is me.
