MeiMei Fox is a New York Times bestselling author, having coauthored, edited and ghostwritten over a dozen non-fiction health, wellness, psychology and self-help books, including "Bend Not Break" with Ping Fu and "Fortytude" with Sarah Brokaw. Recently, she completed work on "The Five Invitations" with Frank Ostaseski. Since 2016, Fox has contributed five articles per month to FORBES on aligning your career with your life purpose. She frequently profiles social and environmental entrepreneurs and change makers who can serve as role models to us all. Fox has had numerous articles published in Yoga Journal, Self Magazine, Stanford Magazine, Huffington Post, MindBodyGreen, and other publications. Two of her poems were selected for the anthologies "Multiples Illuminated" and "Multiples Illuminated: Toddler to Tween Years." She spent two years as a management consultant at McKinsey & Co in the San Francisco office before choosing to pursue her passion for writing, which she has been doing ever since. She feels blessed to have been able to travel the world while doing what she loves. In 2009, she joined Alexandra Cousteau, granddaughter of Jacque Cousteau, for Expedition Blue Planet, writing blogs and film scripts as they journeyed to Cape Town, the Okavango Delta, India, Israel and Jordan. In addition to writing, Fox works as as life coach, helping clients to achieve their loftiest goals. She earned an MA in Counseling Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute, including working for a year as a psychotherapist with middle school students. An avid yogi and meditator, she has earned a yoga teaching certificate from Ana Forrest and completed three 10-day silent Vipassana meditation retreats. At present, Fox lives in Honolulu, Hawaii with her beloved husband, filmmaker/author Kiran Ramchandran, and their twin boys. She serves on the Board of the HOPE Foundation USA, an international NGO which offers support, healthcare, education, job skills training and more to the street and slum-affiliated communities of Kolkata, India.
