Besides writing books that focus on finding the wonder of God in the places we least expect, I'm also the founder and executive director of Wonder Wood Ranch, a 501(c)3 charity that brings hope through horses to disadvantaged kids. Originally, I was a research chemist (I got my bachelor's degree in chemistry at Stanford University), but I always knew I wanted to write. A few years ago I earned my Masters degree in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary and am now focused on bringing the wonder of God to readers through my books, to kids through the Ranch, and to anyone who is open to the whisper of grace, of mystery, and of breathtaking wonder.
