1963 Graduated from The University of Texas with Bachelor of Science degree. 1964 – 66 Served in United States Peace Corps as a volunteer stationed in northeastern Brazil. Taught literacy and health. 1970 – 78 Taught English and Portuguese at the Institute of Foreign Trade in Mexico City. Taught Portuguese at The University of Mexico City (UNAM). 1978 –80 Attended The University IberoAmericana in Mexico city. Did one year of graduate work majoring in Comunications. Taught English at TELEVISA 1981 Attended Rice University in Houston, Texas and obtained certification for Judicial Interpreting (Spanish & English) 1997-2009 Developed “VAMOS HABLAR” By using all my experience in teaching languages and analyzing the learning processes that I had observed. I have been able to break down the important components of the Spanish language that enable a student to communicate verbally in a short period of time. I have been teaching students to speak Spanish successfully with an audio visual method that I call VAMOS HABLAR for 10 years.(www.vamoshablar.org) 2009 Published an illustrated Spanish book based on audio-visual method I developed. Title of book is “I SAY HOLA, YOU SAY HELLO” It was published by Tate Publishers.
