Dr. Loren Murfield is continually challenging himself and others to think bigger and reach higher. As a multi-layer thinker, his goal is to create disruptive opportunities, doing what few thought possible. His portfolio includes working with individual and organization decision-makers to sense and seize breakthrough opportunities that disrupt the “status quo” and “business as usual.” I am currently rebranding my business and personal development books under the "Pivotal" theme. I believe when we are willing to think bigger and reach higher, we become pivotal, continually shifting to find the next, great opportunity. They are designed to reduce anxiety and motivate you to take the next big step. A personal note: To understand me best you need to know that I love doing what others never thought I could. Many gave up on my career when I worked warehouse and factory jobs for a decade following high school. But as I was about to turn 31, I returned to college to earn my B.S., M.A., and Ph.D. I went on to teach 23 undergraduates and graduate courses in Communication, Leadership, and Management. I left academia to start my coaching and consulting business where I've written 30 books, four plays, and two screenplays as well as several online courses. In my mind, almost anything is possible. Professionally, I am an executive coach, professional speaker, and podcast host of, "Holy Crap, How'd They Do That?" I also lead monthly masterminds and host Thought Leader lunches seminars.
