Leslie R. Martin is a Professor of Psychology at La Sierra University in Riverside, California. Her research interests center on better understanding physician-patient interactions in order to improve patient outcomes, and on identifying psychosocial pathways to health and longevity. In her spare time, Leslie enjoys hiking, running, reading, and playing with her dogs. Her latest popular book, co-authored with Howard S. Friedman, is "The Longevity Project: Surprising Discoveries for Health and Long Life from the Landmark Eight-Decade Study."
