My name is Leah, and I have a passion for French baking. In fact, when I was a teenager I experimented with pâte à choux, apple strudel, and chocolate soufflés instead of makeup and new outfits! As an adult, I fell in love with France and its wonderfully rich, golden brown, and shatteringly flaky croissants. I became determined to replicate them at home, and even a move to Colorado and the challenges of high-altitude baking could not deter me. In 2014, I opened a farmer's market stall called "Le Petit Croissant" in Colorado Springs, where every summer I continue to sell many of the French brunch foods featured in my "French Brunch At Home" cookbook. My cookbook is truly a labor of love. I wrote every word, more than 50% of the photos are taken of my own baking in my own home, and my design team outdid themselves!
