As a British author, voice actor and mother, Kate has always loved writing and narrating picture books. She is thrilled to be a contributing author and voice the trailer for 'Friends and Anemones - Ocean Poems for Children' published by the WritersLoft Press. A stunningly illustrated collection of children's poems by new and celebrated authors and artists. In addition, a portion of the proceeds will go to the Rozalia Project, a New England non-profit dedicated to cleaning our oceans. Her poem, Sapphire of the Deep, is based on a true story—although she may have taken liberties with the ending!
While New England is her home, old England still beckons and she visits the island of Guernsey, one of the UK Channel Islands, as often as she can. Her mother grew up there and she was married there. And yes, she’s writing a picture book about Guernsey too.
