Hi. I'm Jayne Storey, welcome to my author page. I'm a coach, speaker and writer specializing in the mind~body connection for high performance sport.
This is a new frontier in sports performance which uses an Eastern approach to unite the mental game with technique. The result? I'm helping athletes turn complex movement (golf swing, tennis serve etc.) into effortless motion, particularly when they are under pressure.
My background includes 32 years of meditation and Tai Chi (both as a practitioner and coach) and I am a pioneer of the emerging genre which unites these ancient disciplines with today's high performance culture in sport.
I am the creator of the unique Chi-Performance methodology (Est. 2002), which has been tried, tested and proven to enhance performance, particularly during those pressure moments where the smallest margins are all that separate the champion from the runner-up.
I have spent decades developing what is now considered 'the missing link' in performance enhancement and can provide the definitive training method for getting 'in the zone', that elusive state of relaxed concentration which enables the delivery of fluid motion in pressure situations.
I've appeared in various newspapers and magazines from Cosmopolitan to the Daily Mail and the Sunday Times, and have also been featured on BBC Radio and Television.
I'm based in Berkshire, UK and work with students locally and on Skype.
