James Matthew Byers lives in Tarrant, Alabama. He has been published in poetry journals and through Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, AL, where he received his Master's in 2010. His epic poem, Beowulf: The Midgard Epic, as well as newly released The Bard Song Saga: Book One: Valkeryia, are current releases from Stitched Smile Publications. His work has been published in Weirdbook Magazine, Grievous Angel eZine, and Heroic Fantasy Quarterly. He has won or placed in numerous contests at the Alabama State Poetry Society. James is also featured in several KJK Production publications. He continues to write prolifically, supporting creatives while placing his hammering fingers to the keyboard anvil while attempting to become a polished wordsmith ...
